The App only accesses and processes inputs that you choose to submit to configure your personal placement preparation dashboard:
Onboarding Profile Details: Your Name, College / University, Degree Stream, Current Year of Study, and Target Job Role. These are used to dynamically build a personalized 30-day timeline roadmap in the interface.
Career Guidance & Resume Details: Any text bullet points, action verbs, resume sentences, or interview answers you enter into our training features for ATS-friendly auditing and feedback.
Interactive Chat: Text messages entered during conversations with our placement mentor feature (in Hinglish or English Pro styles) to receive real-time, on-demand advice.
2. Device-Level Storage and Privacy Sovereignty
To promote absolute transparency and data safety:
Client-Side Local Storage: All profile progress, selected conversational style presets, current streak metadata, and roadmap milestones are cached exclusively on your local device storage (using web-compliant localStorage).
Instant Clear and Wipe: You have complete operational authority over your data. You can delete all stored conversation history, roadmap paths, and profile inputs instantly at any time by clicking the "Reset Coach" or "Reset Profile" option in the App's main header.
3. Secure Core Feature Processing
To compute domain-relevant interview recommendations, resume improvements, and professional feedback:
Feature Execution: Text questions, answers, and resume items are processed on-demand via our cloud computing parameters (powered securely via Server-Side Google Gemini API). This is strictly active real-time runtime processing.
Targeted Security: We do not log, sell, write, or catalog these texts to any permanent external host structures or databases. No personal background tracking parameters or account credentials are accessed.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We do not lease, trade, or distribute your inputs to advertising companies or commercial entities. Text inputs are processed via:
AI Infrastructure Engine (Gemini API): Processes raw text snippets and resume inputs dynamically in order to generate customized bullet point improvements and mock interview responses back to your active screen.
5. Children's Privacy Guidelines
Saathi AI is designed intentionally for college students, university graduates, and placement candidates. We do not track or knowingly communicate with individuals under the age of 13.
6. Your Regulatory Controls and Rights
Since all data sits directly in your device client files, you have immediate control to access, inspect, modify, or delete your entire profile setup at any point. Simply use the in-app option to Reset / Disconnect your profile to start over from scratch.
